Connect CaptiFi to 5,000+ apps with no-code automations: new guest, repeat visit and review triggers. Official Zapier app coming soon. Free trial.
An official CaptiFi Zapier app is on the roadmap and is not yet live. When it lands, it will let you connect CaptiFi to more than 5,000 apps with no code, using triggers such as a new guest signing in, a repeat visit or a review being left, paired with actions like adding a tag, sending an email or creating a CRM contact. The result is a single hub for wiring your WiFi guest data into HubSpot, Salesforce, Notion, Google Sheets, Slack and the rest of the Zapier catalogue.
The principle is straightforward. Every time a guest signs in to your venue WiFi and opts in, CaptiFi captures consented details such as their email, the venue and the visit date. The forthcoming Zapier app will hand those events to Zapier so you can build automations that fit your own stack rather than waiting for a one-off native connector for each tool you use.
It is worth being clear about what is already possible today. A generic Zapier webhook path is what powers CaptiFi's current Square, Klaviyo, Salesforce, SumUp and Facebook Pixel connections, so Zapier-based automations are not new to the platform. The dedicated, branded CaptiFi Zapier app, with named triggers and actions you can pick from a list, is the part that is still coming.
Once the official app is live, a single CaptiFi to Zapier link will reach more than 5,000 apps, so you will not need a separate native connector for every tool your venue already runs.
You will build workflows in Zapier's visual editor without writing any code, choosing a CaptiFi trigger and the action you want in another app.
The forthcoming app will expose clear triggers such as new guest, repeat visit and review left, plus actions like add tag, send email and create CRM contact, so you are not hand-building raw webhook payloads.
Only guests who opt in on your splash page will flow through Zapier, so the records and outreach you trigger downstream stay aligned with GDPR and PECR.
The branded CaptiFi Zapier app is part of a forthcoming rollout. Until it ships, you can already use the generic Zapier webhook path that powers the current Square, Klaviyo, Salesforce, SumUp and Facebook Pixel connections.
When the app is live you will start a Zap by picking a CaptiFi trigger such as new guest, repeat visit or review left, so the automation fires on the right guest event.
Select what should happen next, for example add a tag, send an email or create a CRM contact in HubSpot, Salesforce, Notion, Google Sheets or Slack.
Match the CaptiFi data, including email, venue, visit date and consent state, to the fields the receiving app expects, then turn the Zap on.
When a guest signs in for the first time, a Zap will create a contact in your CRM and post a quick alert to Slack so the team knows a new regular has arrived.
On a repeat visit trigger, a Zap will add a loyalty tag in your email tool and append the visit to a Google Sheet you use to track returning customers.
When a guest leaves a review, a Zap will log it in Notion and notify the duty manager, so positive feedback is celebrated and any issue is followed up fast.
